Woahhh. It’s been ages since I illustrated anything; totally haven’t been in the ‘zone’, so to speak, for months. But I decided it was time to get my life back on track creatively.
This is a building in Lancaster, UK, where I live, called the Ashton Memorial (well technically only half of it). I really have no idea why this is the first thing I chose to draw after my haitus and I’m not sure how it’s going to turn out. All I do know is that it feels awesome to do something and not want to delete it immediately for a change!
This is merely the start but I’ll keep posting as it develops. (I’m considering a set of postcards?!, though that’s rather dull for me…).
:D
SKULL BAUBLE
A Christmas card design. Gunna try to get these bad boys out to the people that matter this festive season.
:D
A birthday card design I knocked up for a friend today.
A sneaky peek at something I’m working on at the moment. Watch this space…
Redoing a lot of my previous uni work at the moment. Here, the brief was to design a book cover for ‘The End of the Line’ by Charles Clover; a book which discusses the dilemma of overfishing.
Much better than my original.
Reworking of a previous iillustration. It was concerned with the matter of sustainable sushi. Probably needs to be pushed a bit further.
Having a frustrating day, where nothing seems to go right , design-wise, results in me designing a gig poster for a band I’ve only listened to twice.
today.was.weird.
‘I KILLED MADONNA’
Just seems like it will be difficult for Madonna to resurrect some form of music career since Lady Gaga has come on the scene….?
